At Kopelman Aesthetic we try to make every visit to our office a seamless and easy process. We are very experienced in helping patients who visit Manhattan to see Dr. Kopelman set up all their needs and accommodations during their stay. We will help you schedule flights, your hotel stay, any transportation, and if need be a private duty nurse.
If you will be staying in Manhattan for a few days prior to your surgery with Dr. Kopelman, we will be happy to provide you with our favorite restaurants and attractions to visit while you are in town. Our office is located in the heart of New York on 90th and Park Avenue. You will be able to easily access transportation to any area of the city from our office.
THE CONSULTATION
A long distance consultation with Dr. Joel E. Kopelman can easily be arranged on Skype or on the phone. We encourage you to email or phone our office to express your interest to set up a digital visit with Dr. Kopelman. It is important to let us know what procedure you are considering, the dates you are interested in having your treatment, and how long you would be able to stay in Manhattan to recover from a procedure.

CONSULTATION
Dr. Kopelman will encourage you to provide photographs of your area of interest so that he can make a full assessment of your needs. The photos should include the entire head visible to the base of the neck with both a frontal and side views. These photographs can easily be sent via email or through the post office. Once our office receives the photographs, we will schedule a Skype or telephone consultation
After your virtual consultation with Dr. Joel E. Kopelman, our patient coordinator will work with you closely to review the proposed plan laid out by Dr. Kopelman. The patient coordinator will discuss surgical fees, scheduling details, and help you set up accommodations and a private duty nursing post-surgery if necessary.
Spending TIME
IN NEW YORK
We recommend that for any of our patients who fly long distances for a surgical procedure that involves anesthesia arrive in New York at least one day prior. In addition we recommend that after an eyelid or facelift procedure that you remain in the area for 7-10 days in order for Dr. Kopelman to monitor your healing process and remove any sutures. For non-surgical procedures that include injectables, botox, or a laser treatment you will not require more than a day visit in New York. The length of your stay will depend on many factors that include how fast you normally heal from a procedure, your age and health.

Some patients after surgery require a private duty nuse that can help manage any postoperative discomfort. The private nurse will meet you in the recovery area following your surgery with Dr. Kopelman and will travel with you to your home or hotel.
